Services for Workplaces and Community Groups
At Fairground, we deliver engaging and practical training experiences designed to enhance wellbeing, connection, and performance in the workplace. Our offerings include short workshops (2-3 hours), full-day training, or programs delivered over several weeks. We cover topics such as:
- Mental Health (including Mental Health First Aid)
- Relationship Education
- Reflective Practice
- Team Building
- Change and Conflict Management
With new psychological health and safety regulations from December 2025, many workplaces are taking this opportunity to re-evaluate how they support the mental health and wellbeing of their teams. To assist businesses with this we are happy to offer free consultations to help identify and provide professional recommendations on any areas they need improvement, along with suggesting ways we can support positive change.
Our facilitators bring extensive experience delivering training across a range of sectors, including, but not limited to:
- Community Services (Homelessness & Housing, Family Relationships, Mental Health Support, Family Violence, Mediation)
- Disability Support
- Local Council
- Tourism
- Secondary Education
- Veterinary Services
- Allied Health
- Courts Victoria
- Insurance Services
We pride ourselves on creating interactive, inclusive, and strengths-based learning environments. Our sessions are flexible, practical, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each group. For more information about our facilitators, please see our About page.
To discuss your organisation's training needs or to book a Workplace Wellbeing Check, please contact us by phone or email. We'd love to hear from you.
"We had the privilege of having Kim & Kelly from Fairground Wellbeing come and train us in Mental Health First Aid. This session was incredibly valuable and raised their awareness of how to recognise the signs of mental health challenges ... Thank you to everyone who participated and helped create a safe open and supportive space for learning." - Helen Lazarou, Sovereign Hill
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid training equips you with the skills to listen, connect, and offer support when it matters most. You can play a vital role in reducing stigma and promoting pathways to support for those experiencing mental health problems in our workplaces, communities, schools, and tertiary institutions. Training is delivered over two days, six hours per day.
Cost for group 8-20 people - $4350
Supporting psychological safety in the workplace
Develop interpersonal skills of leaders to improve connection with staff, support mental health, and optimise workplace performance. Key objectives of workshop are to identify current strengths, improve sense of wellbeing in the workplace, explore barriers to connecting with staff, and examine what is getting in the way of helpful conversations and good outcomes through reflective practice.
Workshops delivered over three hours, to groups up to 15 people - $1250 per session.
Body Intelligence
Body Intelligence (BQ) workshops provide an opportunity for participants to develop a deeper awareness of their physical and emotional states, while promoting a healthy relationship with their body. Through increased awareness of the body's signals, needs and emotions, participants are supported to improve their mental and physical health. We explore the idea of Body Image and the impact of social media and social standards on self-esteem.
Time is dedicated to the facilitation of mindful practices that can be woven throughout the day, promoting long-term positive change. Workshop delivery is flexible and contains eight hours of content (e.g. two hours per week over four weeks).
"Kim and Kelly were fantastic. Both were very professional and presented the course material in a clear, easy to understand format. I really appreciated they took the time to ask us how we wanted to engage with the content." Anon
"Lots of opportunity for discussion, encouraged to talk about experiences, opinions and ask questions. The instructor provided a safe, non-judgemental space for this." Anon

"It was fantastic. I've been with my partner now for 27 years. The kids are all grown up. And it's just us two. So it was a really good opportunity to learn what makes us two tick as a couple, as opposed to always focusing on the kids. This is our time. It's felt like we've had this distance. Like we're not together like we were when we were 20. So it's nice having that tiny little bit of spark again. So I'd like to do some more to build that spark, to have that energy again in the relationship." - Christine
Circle of Security Parenting Program
This 8-week program is based on decades of research that promotes a secure parent-child relationship. It focuses on understanding your child and how to look beyond their behaviours so that you can respond to their underlying needs. In each two-hour session, you will have the opportunity to develop specific relationships capacities that allow your child to thrive and develop healthy relationships now and in the future.
Tuning in to Kids
This evidence-based program teaches emotion coaching skills to parents, carers, or adults working with children in a school or community setting. You will develop skills in understanding and managing children's emotions, and how to respond supportively. This strengthens connections and improves children's emotional regulation and behaviour. Delivery of program material and facilitation of group discussion takes place for two hours per week, over six weeks.
Tuning in to Teens
This program helps parents and carers understand the specific emotional needs of teenagers. You will draw on and extend the skills that you already have to facilitate healthy communication with adolescents in the family, school or community setting. This encourages teens to understand and express their own emotions in healthy ways to maximise their social, behavioural, cognitive and physiological outcomes. Delivery of program material and facilitation of group discussion takes place for two hours per week, over six weeks.
"It was great. And for me one of the best things was the tools of Love Languages. I just absolutely loved it. I know I'll take that home with me." - Michael
